At Shiloh Water Systems, we take great pride in being Oregon’s premier water filtration system specialists. No other water company in the area can boast the same level of customer service and work quality. We conduct free water tests, provide maintenance and repairs to your existing water systems, and we also install the best water filtration systems Oregon has to offer.

Sulfur is commonly found in drinking water in the U.S. It is not bad for your health, but it does come with a host of other problems.

There are two main types of sulfur found in drinking water; hydrogen sulfide, which is a gas, and hydrogen sulfate, which is a naturally-occurring mineral. Hydrogen sulfide in drinking water is often the result of a leaking gas line, and is most commonly found in well water. It causes your water to take on a rotten egg smell that can be quite off putting, and it can also stain your silverware. Hydrogen sulfate can cause a scale-like film to build up in your pipes and can corrode iron, copper, steel, and other metals. Sulfur can be a huge nuisance, but we can test your water for sulfur concentrations and install whole-house water filters that are capable of completely filtering out all of the sulfur in your drinking water. With our diligent service, your drinking water will be pure and safe to drink for years and years.

SULFUR GUARD® BACKWASHING FILTER

Sulfur Guard® filters provide a turnkey remedy for handling foul-smelling “rotten egg” water. Unlike other systems that use multiple treatment stages and are expensive, cumbersome, and complex to maintain, there’s not much to do with a Kinetico Sulfur Guard filter but enjoy odor-free water.

  • Dual Tank System

Dual tanks accommodate higher flow rates needed in multi-person and larger homes.

  • Non-Electric Operation

Moving water is the power source, not electricity, so operation is simple and reliable. There are no timers or computers to set, adjust, repair or replace.

We were having issues with running water from our well. Call for help, and help arrived 3 hours later. We had a quick diagnosis of a blown capacitor, and the part was changed in less than 30 minutes. Threw in some random questions at the end of the maintenance, and wound up stocking up on a couple new filters that the tech had in his truck. Fast and friendly was really appreciated.

After an Amazon driver drove into our well pump, rendering it useless, Shiloh had us back in waterworld the next day (which was the earliest they could come). The only issue was some confusion over backfilling, which they said they’d do & didn’t. We ended up doing ourselves which wasn’t a big deal. It would’ve been nice if they’d credit our account with said work (only bc it was supposed to be completed by them) but it’s all good. Still giving 5 stars: the guys were friendly, knowledgeable, & answered all of my annoying questions with humor & a bit of grace. We’ve used Shiloh for years & will continue to do so!

I think the job is incomplete even though the person visiting the site was very pleasant in obtaining the information. I am still waiting for an analysis, a proposal on how to move forward, and an estimate of the well treatment. So far nothing after site visit. Still waiting for an incomplete job.
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for your 5-star review, John! We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with Shiloh Water Systems, Inc. Your support means a lot to us, and we’re here anytime you need assistance in the future!
